Preschool Ministry Policies

Please alert the Staff and your child’s teacher of ANY allergies!!!

  • Preschool facilities will open 15-minutes prior to regular church activities and service.
  • A parent should come for his child immediately following the service or function.
  • For the safety of our preschoolers and to provide the best teaching environment, only preschoolers and teachers are permitted in preschool classrooms.
  • Parents and other family members are asked not to visit the child or to “look in” on him. This may upset your child by thinking it’s time to go, it will then upset other children and disrupt the teaching session. If you are concerned about your child, please go to the Preschool Welcome Desk and our staff will gladly check on your child for you by visiting the room.
  • Babies through toddlers will be promoted according to their developmental needs and progress.  All other children are promoted annually.
  • Under no circumstances are children to be left in the preschool area unattended at any time.
  • Preschoolers may be brought to the preschool ministry only when the person bringing them is attending a church function.
  • Children should not bring personal toys or other possessions to their classes.

      Safety and Security Policies

We take the Safety of Our Preschoolers Very Seriously!!!

  • During all preschool ministry functions we utilize the Sticker security system.
  • All preschoolers registered for an event will have a pre-printed sticker that is printed with a unique and randomly assigned word that is changed every week.
  • Parents will be given a parent sticker that is printed with the matching word to the preschoolers' sticker.
  • The child's name and classroom numbers are not printed on the parent sticker to ensure that if a sticker is lost, it cannot be used to pick-up a child.
  • At pick-up you will be required to return your parent sticker.  If you do not have your parent sticker, you will be required to show photo i.d. that will be checked against the child's registration form to ensure that the individual attempting to pick-up the child is an authorized pick-up adult.
  • Pagers will be given to all parents of children three years and younger.  We will page you if a situation arises or if your child is unable to be consoled.
  • To avoid congestion in the preschool hallway, please have only one parent drop-off & pick-up your child.
